Nelson Jazzfest 2021
The Nelson Jazzfest takes place in early January, with free gigs in cafes/bars around Nelson.
The main gig is the Founders Park Twilight Concert on the Friday night.
End the day in a beautiful setting with a great selection of ethnic food stalls along with some of New Zealand’s top musicians entertaining you.

Nelson Buskers Festival brings street performers from around the world to our beautiful region for four days of action-packed shows.
Buskers from the USA, Canada, Romania, Australia and New Zealand amaze with giant bubbles, magic, juggling, a special secret mission and even a bit of zany keep fit!
Trafalgar Street and Church Steps shows are family-friendly and free to attend, though bring some cash to show your appreciation for the amazing skills of these hard-working performers.
Nelson opera in the Park 2021
Opera in the Park is back at Saxton with some of New Zealand’s finest opera and contemporary singers, alongside our national orchestra, the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra.
With affordable ticket prices, this is a world-class event that everyone can enjoy.
March Fest 2021

The Nelson-Tasman region is New Zealand’s sole hop growing area – and has always been in the vanguard of the emerging NZ craft beer renaissance.
