Enjoy flexibility and peace of mind when booking our Standard Flexible Rate at Admirals Motor Inn, Nelson.

Our Standard Flexible Rate allows guests to cancel or amend their reservation up to 72 hours before their scheduled arrival, subject to availability and the conditions outlined below.

1. Payment Terms

• A valid credit or debit card is required to secure your reservation.
• Payment for accommodation is due upon arrival unless otherwise arranged.
• Admirals Motor Inn reserves the right to pre-authorise the card provided to guarantee the reservation.

2. Cancellation Policy

• Free cancellation is available up to 72 hours before the scheduled check-in time on the arrival date.
• Cancellations received within 72 hours of the scheduled check-in time will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to 100% of the total reservation value.
• Cancellations must be received and confirmed by Admirals Motor Inn within the permitted cancellation period.
• All cancellation times are based on New Zealand local time.

3. Changes to Reservations

• Changes to arrival dates, departure dates, room types or the length of stay may be requested up to 72 hours before arrival.
• All amendments are subject to availability and any applicable rate differences.
• Changes requested within 72 hours of arrival may incur cancellation or amendment charges.
• Any amended reservation remains subject to the cancellation terms confirmed at the time of the amendment.

4. No-Shows and Early Departures

• Guests who fail to arrive on their scheduled arrival date without prior notification will be charged 100% of the total reservation value.
• Early departures or unused nights are non-refundable when the change is made within the 72-hour cancellation period, except where required by law.
• Late arrivals do not entitle guests to a refund for unused accommodation.

5. Travel Insurance

• We recommend that guests consider appropriate travel insurance to cover unexpected illness, transport disruptions, emergencies or changes to travel arrangements.

6. General Conditions

• The Standard Flexible Rate is subject to availability.
• Rates may vary depending on the room type, season and booking dates.
• Reservations are subject to Admirals Motor Inn’s standard property policies.
• Any special arrangements must be confirmed in writing by Admirals Motor Inn.
• Nothing in these terms limits or excludes guests’ rights or remedies under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, Fair Trading Act 1986 or other applicable New Zealand law.

1. Payment Terms

• Full payment (100% of the total reservation value) is required at the time of booking.
• Payment will be charged to the credit or debit card provided when making the reservation.
• The booking is confirmed once payment has been successfully processed.

2. Cancellation Policy

• All bookings made under the Non-Refundable Rate are final.
• No refunds will be provided for cancellations, including those made due to changes in travel plans, personal circumstances or transport disruptions, except where required by New Zealand law.
• Cancellation at any time will result in a charge equivalent to 100% of the total reservation value, subject to applicable law.

3. Changes to Reservations

• Changes to arrival dates, departure dates, room types or the length of stay are not permitted under this discounted rate.
• Any requested changes are at the sole discretion of Admirals Motor Inn and may incur additional charges.
• Any approved changes do not automatically make the booking refundable.

4. No-Shows and Early Departures

• Guests who fail to arrive on their scheduled check-in date will not receive a refund.
• No refunds will be provided for unused nights resulting from late arrivals or early departures, except where required by law.

5. Travel Insurance

• We strongly recommend that guests obtain appropriate travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances, including illness, transport disruptions and changes to travel arrangements.

• The Non-Refundable Rate is subject to availability and may not be offered on all dates or room types.

Admirals Motor Inn- Group booking terms and conditions

Applicable to bookings of 3 or more rooms

Thank you for choosing Admirals Motor Inn, Nelson. We look forward to welcoming your group. To ensure a smooth booking experience, the following terms and conditions apply to all group reservations involving three (3) or more rooms.

1. Booking Confirmation & Deposit

• A 10% non-refundable deposit of the total accommodation cost is required to secure and confirm your group booking.
• The deposit must be paid by the date specified in your booking confirmation.
• Your reservation is not confirmed until the deposit has been received.
• The deposit will be deducted from the total accommodation balance.
• The deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances, including cancellation or changes to your booking.

2. Payment of Balance

• The remaining 90% of the accommodation cost must be paid no later than 7 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, unless alternative arrangements have been agreed upon in writing.
• Admirals Motor Inn reserves the right to cancel reservations where payment has not been received by the required date.

3. Group Cancellation Policy

A 7-day cancellation policy applies to all group bookings.

• More than 7 days before arrival: The booking may be cancelled without further accommodation charges. The 10% deposit remains non-refundable.
• Within 7 days of arrival: Cancellation will result in a charge equal to 100% of the total accommodation cost.
• No-shows or early departures: No refunds will be provided for unused accommodation.

All cancellations must be submitted in writing to Admirals Motor Inn.

4. Changes to Group Bookings

• Requests to reduce room numbers, shorten stays or change booking dates are subject to availability and approval.
• Reductions in room numbers within 7 days of arrival will be treated as cancellations of the affected rooms, with the full accommodation cost payable for those rooms.
• Changes requested more than 7 days before arrival may be accommodated without additional cancellation charges, although the original deposit remains non-refundable.
• Any additional rooms requested will be subject to availability and the rates applicable at the time.

5. Group Responsibilities

• The group organiser is responsible for communicating these terms and conditions to all members of their group.
• Guests are expected to respect other guests, motel property and our quiet-hours policy.
• Any damage, excessive cleaning or additional costs incurred during the stay may be charged to the responsible guest or group organiser, where agreed and permitted by law.

6. Acceptance of Terms

Payment of the 10% non-refundable deposit confirms acceptance of these Group Booking Terms & Conditions.

All terms are subject to applicable New Zealand consumer protection laws, including any rights that cannot legally be excluded.
